RG Barber Consultants, CPA’s continues to be the premier asset based and retail auditing firm. Our sole purpose since the Firms inception in 1991, is providing financial institutions, attorneys and venture capital groups with insightful valuations and analyses of collateral to enable them to make sound credit decisions. In conjunction with the collateral valuation services, we provide a wide range of other functions, including credit underwriting, monitoring, workout/bankruptcy services and litigation support. RG Barber Consultants employees full time asset based lending field examiners, all eager to perform the best due diligence field exams possible. The Firm is headquartered in Cleveland, OH, with examiners located in various cities throughout the United States.

RG Barber Consultants consists of highly skilled, motivated and successful accountants who possess a unique blend of banking, finance and public accounting experience. The field examiners in our Firm have a wealth of collateral evaluation experience, along with additional audit experience in public accounting and banking backgrounds as well. We understand the lender’s perspective and provide them with a meaningful and comprehensive product that addresses their unique credit situations.

RG Barber Consultants performs asset based and retail field exams in nearly every industry and throughout the United States, Canada, Europe and Asia. Examinations have ranged in size from small, privately held concerns to large, multinational corporations. In addition to the standard areas of asset based lending, our Firm has also been engaged to perform field examinations in areas such as Retail, Medicare billing, factored accounts receivable and inventory, floor planning, farming cooperatives and others.

Responsibilities & Requirements

• Desired location in major metropolitan cities throughout the United States.
• Possess a minimum of 2+ years of solid asset based or retail field exam experience.
• If no ABL related audit experience, a minimum of 3-5 years of public accounting auditing experience is required.
• Highly motivated field examiners, with superior oral and written skills.
• Work independently and as part of a team, along-side other field examiners.
