RG Barber Consultants, CPA’s main business focus is due diligence field exams/forensic accounting for financial institutions across the United States and Canada. Forensic accounting involves special accounting procedures performed for financial institutions on their current loan portfolio and their new business prospects.

Our internship involves procedural instruction on forensic accounting as it relates to Accounts Receivables, Inventory, Accounts Payable, Cash Accounts, Taxes, Financial Statement review and General Ledger review.

The internship is very unique, as it allows students to stay enrolled full time, while taking part in our internship. We meet two days a week for one and a half hours each day. Normal meeting times are Tuesday’s and Thursday’s, mid-afternoon. Days and times may be flexible in order to accommodate the student’s schedule.
