President

Ron Barber is the owner and founder of RG Barber Consultants CPA’s, Inc.. He has extensive experience as an auditor and has expertise in all areas of the firm’s practice, including field examinations, litigation support, and forensic accounting and client relations. Mr. Barber has worked with many financial institutions on the regional, national and international levels, performing field exams and structuring loan agreements. He has extensive experience performing audits in a broad range of fields including small business; real estate, workouts and asset based lending. Collateral audits performed have been in diverse fields ranging from high tech to basic manufacturing, retail, auto, floor planning, factoring and service. He has also been called upon to provide litigation support for attorneys in bankruptcy proceedings and has provided expert witness testimony. Prior to forming RG Barber Consultants, Mr. Barber was a Supervisor in the Asset Based Lending department of a national bank located in Cleveland, OH.

In addition, he has extensive experience as an auditor with a large regional accounting firm serving clients in manufacturing, real estate, savings and loan and non-profits. Mr. Barber is a member of several national and regional professional organizations, including the American Society of Accountants Risk Management, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, American College of Forensic Examiners and the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants. He has also taught seminars on topics including fraud audits; asset based lending areas, mergers/acquisitions and other collateral topics.
