Steve Spilker joined RG Barber Consultants in 1992 and is currently a Manager. He has extensive experience as an auditor and has expertise in areas including field examinations, system reviews, due diligence auditing and working with troubled companies. Mr. Spilker has worked with regional, national and international banks, performing field examinations on a diverse range of companies. These audits have been in industries ranging from high tech and basic manufacturing to medical services and retail. He has also been responsible for training new employees and reviewing the field exams of other auditors.

Prior to joining RG Barber Consultants, Mr. Spilker was a Supervising Senior Accountant with KPMG Peat Marwick in Cleveland, OH. In this position, he served clients in the Banking and Savings & Loan industries, as well as manufacturing and broker dealers. Other assignments included performing loan grading’s for the Resolution Trust Corporation. He was also responsible for supervising and training staff personnel.
